We participated in many headline-making and significant matters, such as bankruptcy of "Kuznetsk ironworks" and "Novokuznetsk aluminium factory", corporate disputes around the factory "Kuznetsk ferroalloys", and the largest Russian coal-mining enterprises "Kuzbassrazrezugol", "Kuzbassugol", "Vostsibugol", and "Krasnoyarsk Coal Company". The lawyers of Regionservice represented the interests of the Deposit Insurance Agency in bank bankruptcy cases several times. In addition we have vast experience of legal support of financial market participants. Regionservice is the first law firm to win a dispute with a major Russian bank over the invalidation of a cross-currency interest rate swap and to form a court practice on the matter.

Along with everyday legal practice the firm's attorneys take an active part in research and teaching, pursue academic degrees, and act as independent experts and legal consultants to the state bodies, non-governmental organizations, and mass media. Many attorneys of the firm have degrees in both law and economics, and solid practical experience with the state bodies and the largest Russian enterprises. Since its foundation Regionservice has been headed by Denis Rybakov, Ph.D. attorney, Member of the Bar Chamber of the Kemerovo region, who focuses mainly on bankruptcy cases, corporate disputes, and ADR. In March 2020 Denis Rybakov was elected a representative of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation from the Kemerovo region, which is a consultative body that works with the public authorities and local self-government bodies to take into consideration needs and interests of citizens, protect their rights and freedoms, as well as to exercise public control over the activities of government bodies.

One of the main rules of our firm is to comply with the code of attorneys’ ethics that guarantees confidentiality of information received from the client and govern the situations related to the conflict of interests. We guarantee the safety of documents and other commercial classified information, which gets into possession of our lawyers in connection with the execution of projects.
